Catch Charge

A minimal, privacy-first web application (PWA) designed to track credit card exposure across the internet and stop the "free-tier trap." It allows users to map out exactly where their cards are stored to prevent surprise charges from forgotten subscriptions and trials, all without requiring them to link their actual bank accounts.

The Bottleneck

The Problem

The 'free-tier trap' drains wallets. Modern SaaS platforms require credit cards for trial sign-ups, betting that you will forget to cancel before the billing cycle hits. Existing finance trackers require linking real bank credentials—which poses security and privacy risks—or charging monthly subscription fees.

The Solution

Our Approach

Catch Charge is a completely offline, local-first PWA. It tracks credit card exposures, trial dates, and billing periods purely in browser memory. Users receive localized, advance alerts before card renewals hit, allowing them to cancel services on time without exposing real bank access details.
